Juice Grooves
Juice grooves are a routed channel that is inset a half inch from the edge of the board. Grooves serve as a place to collect any juices, oils, and other liquids from spilling over the edge of the cutting board.
Rubber Feet
Rubber feet help prevent the board from sliding on your work surface. They also provide airflow around all sides of the board after it is washed to aid in propper drying and help prevent any warping from a wet board. All rubber feet are attatched with stainless steel screws.
Both juice grooves and rubber feet are available on all cutting boards.
Rubber feet are standard on cheese slicers.
Care information
Care information
Your cutting board will arrive pre seasoned and ready for
use. Always clean your board after every
use. Wipe all left over food materials
off with a warm, wet rag. Then gently
wash your board with a mild soap. Never
submerge your board in water. Soaking
your board can cause your board to warp.
Never put your cutting board in a dishwasher.
Dry your cutting board with a clean towel then let it air
dry by standing it up on its edge or place it on a drying rack.
Season your cutting board on a regular basis depending on
how often you use it. We recommend that
you oil and/or wax your board at least once a month. This will also help prevent the wood from drying
out. When your board is completely dry, use a liberal amount of a food-grade
mineral oil over the entire board. After
it soaks in, an hour or so, wipe off any excess oil.
We also recommend that you wax your board with a blend of
food-grade mineral oil and beeswax. All
our boards will come with a small can of our 210 Board Butter. We also offer extra cans for sale here on our
site. Simply apply a liberal amount of
our board butter on your board with a dry cloth. Let your board sit for about an hour then
using a clean cloth, polish your board until all excess wax is removed.
Important reminder:
Never put your board in a dish washer.
Never submerge or soak your board in water.
Always stand your board on edge or on a rack to allow it to
dry completely on all sides.
